Looks like Reddit is taking a page out of the book of another disaster of a platform known as Voat.
Anyways, safe to say that Throat-based platforms like Phuks and Poal are the future of content aggregation platforms.
Reddit and Voat are pretty fucked at this point.
No, if you cut US/WesterEurope politics (trannies, nazi and all this shit unknown to remaining 90% of the world) - reddit is an excellent source of reviews and opinions (technical, in my case - operating systems, phones, fuckin air purifiers etc). Sadly or not - is not going anywhere any soon. In my case, as a Russian, I theoretically couldnt give less fucks about madhouse freak show that US politics and culture is for the last 4 years - I find reddit irreplaceable for sorting, I dont know, 2080 RTX driver issues on Threadripper based platforms etc. But for people that try to use it for politics - well: they are just in wrong place. Blaming reddit for banning politics, which is indeed inflamatory subject, is like blaming Home Depot for not showing blockbusters. This is not a place for that. At least not for majority of users. Now try any technical things here on Poal and you will quickly understand, that this is just different audience.
