Since HS I've wanted to build my own computer, but didn't because I was a good goy that saved his money...
And every time I think about it, I always come back to phase cooling. I may not be able to afford the greatest motherboard, cpu or graphics cards, but with phase cooling, it could be a beast that destroys any top of the line rich kid PC, with only entry level parts.
It's like how everyone wants a supercar, but they can't afford it, so they chuck in a huge boosted v8 in their shitbox, and it's just as fast, if not faster, but still a shitbox. To me, this is the PC equivalent.
I've read page from top to bottom a fair few times over the years.
One day.
20+ years ago, I used to do some experiments with peltier cpu coolers.
That's was quite effective and way cheaper than a phase cooling system.
