Intel, on the other hand, is just now moving from 14nm to 10nm, while TSMC moves to 5nm next year and is building a nearly 20 billion dollar plant to produce 3nm chips. These have to be 3D chips to avoid excessive resistance and quantum tunneling.

Wonder how much of that development was stolen IP from Micron or another US company...
