I know I'm a bit of a tard, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to make a new sub!

I searched for an answer, but only really found this -

You have to get 360 points which is easy by posting popular stuff and making popular comments. I am at level 12 after 8 days and have 3 subs already. Just post interesting or funny stuff and you'll get there in a few days. I'll give your post an upvote to give you some help in your endevour."

I don't appear to have that option in my sidebar.

Would appreciate any help.

This is an old post. The sub options are in the left sidebar of the home/front page (click/tap the blue arrow icon at the edge, under Poal logo).

How to be eligible for a request?

You must be level 6 and up
You must have been an active user in the requested sub for more than 1 month.

Which subs are eligible?

Only subs created by users
(default subs aren't)
Subs where owners and all mod accounts have been MIA for at least 3 months.
Abandoned subs with a red "You can claim this sub" in the sidebar.

Notice:

Being eligible doesn't mean a request will be automatically granted and admins reserve the right to reject a request for an undisclosed reason not mentioned in these rules.
If owners/mods are active, your request will automatically be rejected. (contact the mods if you want to join a sub mod team)
