I promise to feed and water it!

Also, Idk if this is possible or something worth considering, but could /s/MSM be merged into /s/MainStreamMedia? Seeing as it is ownerless and the less active of the two (17 posts in last year). I don't see diluting content between the two subs as beneficial.

And a kind of related question. I'd like to give up the /s/baseball sub. It isn't something I really follow anymore and it should be available to someone who does. I didn't see an option to give up ownership anywhere.

Granted.

I'd like to give up the /s/baseball sub.

Regarding giving up sub ownership: I think the ability to give up ownership of a sub that one has created could be exploited to get around the sub creation count limit (which I believe exists). The user wouldn't own the sub they abandoned, but it would still exist. A user could create a sub of random words, phrases or letters to be retarded and just abandon it and make another (edit: unless abandoned subs would be made to still count toward an account's sub creation count even after giving up ownership of it.)

Ah that makes a lot of sense.

I'm sure giving up ownership doesn't happen very often, so easy enough to just ask AOU.
