I see now that my chances of getting that sub are slim. I guess I just have to wait for @thebuddha to die or give up s/Maine. I assume there is some action the sub owner could take to make a red x saying the sub is available.

If you are interested in a sub, you'll have to ask its creator/owner to mod you or if they agree to transfer it to you, they need to leave a confirmation in the relevant post (this one in that case) in /s/Subrequest
