Also, please remember:

ToS: By becoming a moderator of a default sub or been granted ownership of an existing sub, you agree to represent the best interests of the community you moderate. Continuous failure to do so may result in your removal as a moderator or owner of a given sub.

That part is because we have had some issues with previous ownership transfers when some new owners started to make changes and ban users without valid reasons.

About this sub

How to be eligible for a request?

You must be level 6 and up
You must have been an active user in the requested sub for more than 1 month.

Which subs are eligible?

Only subs created by users
(default subs aren't)
Subs where owners and all mod accounts have been MIA for at least 3 months.
Abandoned subs with a red "You can claim this sub" in the sidebar.

Notice:

Being eligible doesn't mean a request will be automatically granted and admins reserve the right to reject a request for an undisclosed reason not mentioned in these rules.
If owners/mods are active, your request will automatically be rejected. (contact the mods if you want to join a sub mod team)
