White masters used "daylight savings time" to trick their African-American slaves into getting up earlier and working harder as the winter solstice approached. They tried to fool their proud Black African captives into thinking the white man controlled time itself. No self-respecting Black man, Black woman or Jewish man or woman or lesbian or gay or bisexual or transsexual would allow this to continue. ALL attempts to control time itself...
