There's a couple of bad veins in this chunk of marble. Were I wise man, I'd probably get a different stone. Best I can do is stop breathing it with hammers and chisels for a bit, give it the gentle kiss of a grinder. Left my real grinder at work, so I did a bit with the mini today. It's a fun tool, but just like any grinder it gets in it's own way when going for detail.
