You know I was thinking about the riots last year, and how everyone who rioted and looted must have been unemployed their entire lives. If you look at the videos, there's people trying to steal or break into cashier machines. But if you've ever had a service sector job, or saw cashiers switch shifts, you'd know they take the tray of money out and put it in a safe. So all of those machines were empty, but that didn't stop the black folks from trying to smash them open. And what's even more bizarre is that we had lockdowns, so most of those places were shut down for almost two months by then.
