ive done similar jobs and have had similar problems.

i actually 100% sympathise with this dude.

ive had days where i want to hurl a chair at someones head. that reaction was of someone who doesnt want to be there in the first place but doesnt have a choice and knows they just lost their job.

Yep, the exact same here. It's why I tell people to build financial leverage by putting aside a small amount of your paycheque each time - so that nobody can pull this shit on you and you can say whatever the fuck you please, even if it results in you being fired.

i semi agree. you should be putting aside money anyway (i dont... whoops)

but no, you dont shut your mouth just to keep your job. thats what got the world to this state in the first place.

you know your rights and the law you stick to your guns, and you have-at anyone who tries to take those rights away from you.

is it legal to fire someone in victoria for having a different opinion for instance? NO. IT IS NOT. its called Freedom of Expression and is explicitly protected under the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities act.

Exactly.

Time to start putting money away, eh? (Or an alternative if you don't trust the money system, something that will insulate you if the shit hits the fan, at any rate).

And yeah, I don't tolerate being treated like shit, I don't care if I'm at work or otherwise. My personal boundaries don't yield to anyone.
