Exercise giant Peloton announced Thursday that is has voluntarily recalled 878,800 seat posts for its Bike+ exercise bikes because they were found to potentially break off during use, causing users to fall. The seat posts are long metal bars that hold the cushioned bike seats in place during a workout. The recall includes 833,000 bikes sold in the US and 44,800 sold in Canada. The recall was initiated after Peloton, an exercise platform with more than 6million users, received three reports of the seat post breaking off and detaching from the bikes during use. Two people suffered injuries from falling.
