Impacted products were sold between July 2023 and October 2024 on Amazon. The recall stems from a violation of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, which requires child-resistant packaging for products containing diphenhydramine, the active ingredient in Benadryl. The packaging of the recalled bottles does not meet this safety standard, presenting a risk if young children ingest the medicine.
