SP has always been shit. For example, they spent years embarrassing themselves with Saddam Hussein being in a relationship with Satan.
South Park is still going? I stopped watching shortly before the Cartoon Wars arc. Thought it had gone to shit all the way back then. They stopped caring about quality, and just wanted to shit out the latest news satire as quickly as possible, and the satire wasn't even good.
I think the last one I watched was the episode where the entire internet went out, and they fixed it by unplugging and plugging in a giant Linksys router. It wasn't clever or funny.
And it's not for lack of material - so much faggotry begging to be pilloried by parody (wokeness, social justice pyramid, metoo, neverX, cancel culture)
This season isn't bad so far.
The attack on China and those who are appeasing them is something I enjoyed. I liked the crony capitalism and use of children for gain, demonstrated when Randy has Stan go before the city console. I thought the bit with Burger King and the fake meat was hilarious. The small bit with PC principle and the Halloween costumes was good too this year. I did like how they joked about Shelly's pot problem. The mummy stuff was pretty lame tho.
I was getting that vibe from Southpark during the seasons where they focused on Trump (Mr. Garrison) it was the same jokes over and over during the whole season. There were two seasons in a row like that for me.
Though using Jenner as a sadistic driver that runs everyone over all the time was a great bit they kept using because it was real life connected and they just kept using it over and over.
lol true, that was funny.
