Another fact is this - White men are seen as expendable. They are also the ones most likely to risk their own health to help others. Because of this, the vast majority of medical trials for treatments are performed on White males. The doses, lengths of treatment, which treatments are used over others, etc. This results in treatments being fine tuned to White males; their bodies, their genetics. Now, White males are far more likely to survive treatments, and have fewer complications, than any other group. So by thinking it was ok to sacrifice White males because they're White and males, they ended up saving exponentially more White males.
