Just think of it as can based ham wine that gets better w/ age.

[–] 1 pt

I got a bit of canned ham also, prob around the same date.

[–] 1 pt

holup wouldn't eating expired food mean you were unprepared?

[–] 2 pts

oh when shtf your the one running to the store? And its only a best buy date. Im well versed on this subject.

[–] 5 pts

If the can wasn't bloated or corroded it's fine.

[–] 1 pt

I don’t think the sodium brine would be able to preserve it for such long time.

[–] 4 pts

I've been doing a lot of reading on this and canned meat should be fine for up to 15 years past the date if can is undamaged. As you said in your other comment, spam is goyslop so who knows if there is any other ingredients than just meat that could go bad.

I ate canned ham that was about as old as his spam and was completely fine.

Agree with you on that.

Goyslop contains shit that would go bad because kikes don’t want the goyim to prep up and be able to take a stand without the threat of starvation.

They loved starving/killing millions of our people in the Holodomor. They know what we’ll be able to do if they push us to the breaking point.

According to several prep sites, so long as the tin hasn't expanded or bloated or been compromised, the product inside is good almost indefinitely. It's one of the best protein prep items for long term storage, unless you can freeze dry/dehydrate your own protein sources.

It’s valid only if you did your own and followed the right procedures to avoid contamination.

Unfortunately for processed goyslop, it is designed to expire. As I mentioned the reason in my other comment.

That's what the delicious nitrates are for. LOL.

Your kidneys and liver will thank you for the deliciously toxic nitrate.

Be careful brother.

Spam is goyslop, and I don’t think it’s meant to be stored for that long. It’s not worth getting badly sick.

[–] 1 pt

man if anything is spam is, I have cans of food dating back to 2012. Ill eat it all when I have to.

[–] 2 pts

Don’t damage your liver and kidneys for such a cheap goyslop. Get fresh ingredients from local markets run by Whites.

Did you look at what sub this is?

[–] 1 pt

The only thing it is really made for is being stored that long. It's been canned (sterilized) and also has plenty of salt, which was used to preserve pork for a year without refrigeration less than 100 years ago.

Good luck with this science experiment of gastronomy.

It went fine, just as expected

Botulism. Sad. Many such cases

[–] 3 pts

well I guess we will see. man all yall surprise me your not better educated on the subject.

[–] 1 pt

I mean it's safe to eat as long as the deadly bacteria didn't start developing. I've seen people eat canned food from the 50s and earlier. 99% of the time its fine. It's that pesky 1% death that get me though

[–] 1 pt

just wait till your starving, when I moved only one can was bad. I cant remember what it was but it surprised me. I store no tomato or acidic products.

Spam is right up there with twinkies (businessinsider.com) for longevity.

[–] 0 pt

Im not sure about the twinkies, dont stock any. I kinda always thought about that as a myth or joke.
