Yep! Aldi's is what I usually buy, I think they are the best tasting right behind Planters.

We probably get 2/3 of our groceries from Aldi's. Most of our meats still come from local sources, as do most of our eggs.

I'm lucky to have two great butchers and a fishmonger near me. Aldi's and Heinen's for most of my other food.

I thought the oils in them would go rancid. Damn! Am I wrong? I love peanuts.

They do have an expiration date on them so maybe? I've never had a peanut go bad, but then again I eat a bottle about every two weeks, so my supply stays rotated.

Rancid peanuts taste harsh and bitter. They might also smell like old paint or putty, but that's not always easily discernible. Shelled peanuts keep for about 4 months at room temperature and 12 months in the fridge. Unshelled ones last around 6 months unrefrigerated and more than a year refrigerated.
