You can spiral a copper tube inside the chimney then circulate with a pump to heat a cement floor or large water tank to work as a radiator... or to take a shower or whatever. Internally it will get hot enough to melt solder though so no sweat-on fittings.

Well... this is kinda the reverse process since the copper is used for heating not cooling but yeah... you got the right idea.
