I'm not an expert prepper by any means but a prime example is the toilet paper insanity from a couple of years ago. If the shit hits the fan and the grid goes down the last thing you should be worried about is wiping your ass.
I plan to live my life free, and with complete disregard to anything I consider to be unconstitutional over reach. And when its time to confront the over reach, then one or both parties probably aren't going to live very long. I don't think equipment is ever really worthless, as it will always hold value to the person you need to trade it to for the medicine you weren't able to stock up on in time, or whatever that might look like for you.
Have you tried reporting my posts to yet?
Anything electric with only a few exceptions. Not necessarily worthless but not a long term solution.
The zombie apocalypse...
Survival seeds. If shit is scarce, you are going to dig your lawn, pop seeds, wait, learn to grow shit, lose much of it, pop more seeds, oops, weather, pop more seeds, wait, winter… you’re like. A year away realistically and that won’t cover you calorie needs, let alone fat and protein needs.
Time to play with seeds is 3 years before you need to count on that food.
Good points.
Anything that can't fire a projectile at ~ 3,000 FPS is useless.
