I was just making fun of myself. What's the bad H20 advice? I'm on a well with a huge cistern. I keep plenty of bleach. I've got a large berkefeld filter with both ceramic and microfilament cartridges and lots of spares. Plus lifestraws, a grayl, and iodine for when I'm traveling.

I rotate. I know it starts degrading after 6 months but it doesn't instantly drop to 0% effectiveness right away. I thought it was something like 25% degradation annually.
