I'm considering getting a chest freezer and stocking up. Even when things are available the prices are just going to keep going up.
The thing is if I do get a chest freezer I know I'm going to want to build a deep cycle battery backup system and possibly buy a generator too. What good is having hundreds of dollars of meat frozen if the power goes out.
