Been improving my preps for a few years.
Started with adding and storing long life foods at least 6 months per person. Setup my vehicle for overlanding and storing my gear, off road capable, self recovery, light and quick, not towing anything. Portable solar system. Portal fridge. Investment in long term camping gear. Outdoor clothing. Communications (HAM). Means of self-defense (pistol, rifle) Stock up on ammo. Basic weapons training. Basic medical training. Basic outdoor survival training.
A plan to get out of dodge with my gear for an extended stay in a safer area if forced.
Basically it's less stress on me. I feel like if something bad happens I have what I need to get away and have a chance of surviving or helping others. If I'm forced to stay at my home, I can bunker down and have a chance. People may say, if SHTF happens, it is what it is. Well I asked them what if they survive the initial SHTF event and now they're alive with nothing. Good luck with that.
yeah that "peace of mind" thing really is something that improves quality of life even IF nothing happens. just the feeling of joy when i look at my stockpile thinking: "you know what? Fuck all ya, i dont have to leave my house for MONTHS if i dont want to!" Smells like the right kind of freedom...
just look at those poor bastards who live off of welfare, who would start starving to death within a week? THATS slavery right there.
humans dont think longterm if they aint sure they can survive longterm, its that simple, like encoded in our brains. civilisation needs people to be sure they can survive for a long time, so they can plan for that long time.
In a society full of leeches and Niggers, of course nobody thinks about the longterm consequences of their actions, because they are too preoccupied by the time period to their next feeding..
animals in a zoo
humans plan and think ahead...
i am lucky because i live in some kind of paradise, with drinkable water all around, fertile grounds, few Niggers and a lot of guns in white hands, but still it feels good to know that nobody has to hunger for pasta as long as i am around =)
I have a dodge 3500 diesel 4x4 and a northstar950 camper with solar panels have a back deck that is 4x4 feet and folds up for storage. Can put a bike and 4 propane tanks. Not a ton of water storage but I have lots of life straws..
Sound like a good start
