Jury selection intentionally finds do-nothing middle-of-the-road, no-morals-either-way sorts of people. Anyone with any convictions is automatically weeded out. So that leaves you mostly with dumb niggers, subversive jews, and idiot NPCs.

The jury system is fucked.

No sane person wants to be on a jury. In my state it's difficult to get excused from jury duty.
