Thomas Showell is my biggest disappointment. Yap, he is smart, educated, think fast... often say right things... But he is heavily biased, Negro Apologist. In fact I want to make one serious thread about him, but my bad Engrish are big obstacle.
That might be true. But i think most people are heavily biased towards a perspective or two. Once you figure out what their biases are it’s not much of a problem stepping around the biases and finding the gems.
Well, we all are biased, this is normal human behavior. But there is line which Showell cross. He manipulate truth / fact to achieve his goal. In other words he use very subtle form of lying to manipulate people around him. Be biased and be dishonest are two different things.
I don’t dispute he does this.
But I believe all people do this to some degree or another.
We all recognize our interpretation of the world around us as true. Yet we all have bias’. So we all are guilty of manipulating (with words and actions) our relationship with the world around us to others.
Sure. Sowell does that. But so do I. And you likely do as well.
Thomas Sowell blames birdshit libs for everything just like Malcolm X did. For that he'd be a reincarnation of X, except Sowell has an intense focus on data driven academia where X was dogmatic.
Yap, because of that Showell is much more dangerous. He is smart, educated, have 'golden tongue'. He manipulate data... y'know most powerful form of lying is lying with truth - facts. And he is master of it. Because of that many whites adore him, not aware that he manipulate them in very subtle way.
