That's just a self-preservation instinct. In the same way you want the best for your kin in order to pass on your genes. But that doesn't make those feelings a "right".
Is someone wrong to protect their face?
Define right? I understand the term as "entitlements that exist independently of any outside input." I have the right to defend myself for example. People can only recognize or violate that right, their idea of it isnt even present when my body is called to defend.
Who gets to define these entitlements? Your group. And what are they worth if your group cannot enforce them?
How can a group define your hands movement that happens before you yourself are even aware?
