So you experience a groups norms when you are being violated?

If i were to swing at your jaw w my fist, what raises your own hand in defense? It isn't even conscious thought bc it happens too quickly. Definitely it's not a groups opinion.

You are violating the group's norms by assaulting someone and will be punished by the group for doing that. Other groups have different norms. Orthodox Muslims might assault unbelievers since they aren't considered humans and the "rights" don't apply to them.
