This is a screen capture and screen recording tool I have used forever on my windows computers. It gives me the option to quickly hit a macro to take screenshots, record the screen, etc., then I can also set it to do whatever next steps I want like save locally, upload to host, etc. It also automatically copies the link to my clipboard...super handy! I would love to be able to upload my screenshots directly from the software like I can with those hosts shown in the screenshot.
I'm not sure how turning on browser alerts for pic8/infinity would help this get accomplished.
I guess those hosts have some puiblic API which this software and others like it can use. Does pic8 and/or vid8 have any public API?

That comment was for picman. Mods can enable notifications when someone posts something in their sub with that option enabled in the sub settings.
Right on. Okay, picman is responsible for pic8, vid8, or both?
I run Poal, pic8, vid8, and the Washington Post.

pic8 is owned by picman, vid8 is part of poal official services, thus the alias/subdomain.
