The image has been uploaded, but clicking on the link leads to a 404. The post also got an downvote. Has poal been infested with art-hating kikes, or is this a technical error?

lol imgpile(ofcrap) must really hate pic8 for doing that (replacing links to ads or even porn).

Yeah I was waiting for it to become a definite pattern of behavior

It's definitely a pattern. no more imgpile

Need to go through and find more anonymous image hosts soon.

lol They must have hired some blue-haired hamgur/faggit hamdmins.

It's not really a /s/poaldevissue. Moved to /s/pic8.

Thanks for the report.

@picman, please take a look at imgpile (silently turning pic8 image links to ads) when you have time.

sorry for reporting it to the wrong sub, it's just the one I have in the bookmarks.

No worries. I will update poaldev sidebar to mention /s/pic8for related reports.

BTW, it could be, that the backend made use of an old link, because the same file, which has been uploaded about a year ago. So it's possible, that the backend just used the old link, which has been shoah'd in the meantime.

If that's the case, implementing a check in the backend, that makes sure, that the old link still works, might be an idea.

imgpile is a piece of shit. One of the stickies in a sub here had an imgpile link, recently while cleaning up I discovered that it now led to a rather explicit piece of porn.

I don't see how an image gets replaced like that unless it was done deliberately, they're a shit hoster with leaks, or they recycle IDs.

I think pic8 is the poal safe image host.

The pic has been automatically uploaded via the poal interface, and I'd like to see if it gets deleted again.
