I remember about 10 years ago when women would proudly state that prostitution was the oldest profession with smug satisfaction. Despite the obvious logical flaws in this assumption, invalidating it as a possibility, what always seemed curious to me was how proud they were of it. I just can't imagine a scenario where prostitution would make you proud.
