The prices suck, but I doubt they'll be getting cheaper anytime soon.
Looks like I'll have to modify my case to get it to fit. I have a HAF full tower but the way the drive bays are configured it's about 1 cm too long to fit. Luckily it looks like both sets of drive bay slots come out. Idk how I'm going to reconfigure those yet. Hopefully it is workable.
Holy shit you're still rocking a HAF? I had a HAF X like 4 builds ago. Good case but it was fucking gigantic. I think I still have it somewhere....
I'm using an Antec Flux Pro case. It's was really easy to build in. I could do without the glass panel but everything else about it is great.
It is a beast of a case for sure.
I looked up the Flux Pro, the wood accents look cool. Nice looking case.
I took a closer look at the drive bays and it looks like not only are there screws but rivets. It shouldn't cause too much more work, but I'll have to drill them out. I'm debating if I should remove the motherboard before I do this, but I think I can get a way with taping some cloth over it. The risk of debris causing an issue is likely low, but just to be safe.
If you have a spare pair of hands, run a shop vac next to the rivet while you're drilling it. Should suck any debris away, in theory at least.
