It seems like the AVX-512 instruction is useful for some emulation (like PS3 emulation) for desktop users.
Oh, I didn't even realise that PS3 emulation was a thing
I can see their problem though, it's a lot of silicon for something that might not get used
PS3 emulation is actually going fairly well. But some harder to emulate games like Red Dead Redemption still doesn't run well.
gaming is dead to me for a couple of years, I'm not paying £700 for a GPU, world of tanks runs OK though
