Same here. I wish I knew because I had two HD6970 GPUs back then, I could've mined ETH and have a few hundred grand by now.

Well, a lot of people didn't think some made up coins would be worth anything back then.
I kinda felt that the idea was really innovative because it bypassed banking (which was probably why the banking guy hated it), and I could see that having an 'internet currency' was going to be important as a way to buy stuff in secret.
But I guess I thought I'd never need to buy drugs or require secrecy, so what was the point?
I should have reasoned that other people were still going to buy drugs, and therefore it would retain its value.
Had I known that entire countries would go full Marxist in a decade, then I'd have probably seen the hedge potential too. It's possibly worth something even now, but I'm always going to be butthurt about getting it wrong at the start, lol
