AMD RX Vega 64 with a morpheus II cooler

Was the cooler difficult to install? I'd seen people complaining that the thermal tape was awful for the extra heatsinks.

You have to be absolutely sure that BOTH surfaces you are applying the tape to are completely clean

The real PITA was figuring out the clearance of the vram coolers and the main unit block touching the die

Cheers! I'd looked at it in the past, and seen people having issues. I guess I just take for granted that the surface should be clean, and expect others to know as well. Should know better. LOL

Until I upgraded my cpu/motherboard/memory, I didn't realize how slow it was if I let the driver take care of the fan profile, as it seemed to be weighted to quiet usage, vs performance. So I used MSI afterburner to set the fan to ramp up at lower temps, so it wasn't throttling it to keep it quiet. Also bumped up the power limit, and memory clock, and it's running like a champ. Gets a little noisy, but that's what headphones are for.

Oops. Here I am referencing my current card, not realizing that we were talking about the TNT 2. LOL

My Z80 computer doesn't have a GPU!

It has device to drive the screen and a character generator ROM, that's a primitive GPU of sorts.

Unless you're one of those heathens that just uses a bank of 7-segment displays and programs in hex without booting CP/M.

Running an rx580 as well. Surprised at how much runs pretty well at 4k. I always ditch the AA at that res, doesn't seem to need it. Probably keep using it until it dies. Even if I could find one, the newer gpus are all more expense than I want to spend atm.

Indeed. That's about what I paid for it a year and a half ago, when my old one bought the farm.
