External water cooler radiators with Noctua fans?
Yeah.
Water cooling is the way to go, I've been running a Corsair unit on my old Sandy Bridge for years (OC to 4.7 ghz) and it never overheats even under heavy load.
Nice rig!
Yeah, the 2080 super only gets to 42C under a lot of stress. The ryzen 3800X is around 38C. Idle is 22C for both cpu and gpu. The Noctua NF-F12 fans are the absolute shit for radiator applications, waaaay more pressure and about half the volume. Worth the price.
I have a special relationship with JDM things, awesome computer.
This is good stuff. Be careful with your fingers. You may want to get yourself a screen for the input and output of those fans. A metel mesh would be easy enough.
Aha. fans are on the opposite side of the I/O.... I didn't plan it that way it just made sense to have the GPU radiator blowing towards the exhaust rather than from it, cool air and all.
