I bet Ronald Trump was there. He's such a worldly fellow. I miss him so much.

I doubt he was there, he was a jew in the UK, unless he converted to goatroper in Ohio. At least the blue shirt niggers weren't trotting out the tards at this show like they were at Swapper's Day.

Will you ever accept my feelings for Ronald Trump?

I accept your feelings, I simply believe they're rubbish.

Meanwhile, a steam engine is the best type of engine to use for ocean liners

Nice tractor.

It's in beautiful shape, even the M-M logos were all painted up like it just came from the factory.

I love restorations like this one. Fully functional and better than factory spec.

Ohio requires the operators to be licensed boiler operators after the 2001 Medina accident, so chances are it's in great internal shape as well.

I hope anyway, some operators treat them like they're any other tractor. Cold water + hot crown sheet and an almost empty tank still means boom.

Im not a huge fan of steampunk, but I will say it’s one of the healthiest ways to enjoy punk.

People have no conception of the raw power of steam. Steam locomotives are built the way they are built, with solid iron several inches thick, for a reason. Until very recently all the catapults that launch jets off aircraft carriers were steam catapults. Why? Because nothing else had the necessary power. Steam never really went away. Electrical generators in coal plants and nuclear plants are all driven by steam. I wouldn't be surprised to see steam power make a big comeback in some form or other. We haven't seen the last of steam.

The drive cylinder of these tractors is usually pretty small in comparison to the boiler, but they have no problem dragging a green log through a sawmill. It still amazes and entrances me.

You might find this video interesting. It's not a steam engine; just an old tractor with an engine running at 0 rpm. Engine running backwards? Lanz Bulldog Tractor two stroke (youtube.com)

These are great.

I have a bunch more, just going through and picking good ones. The rest I have to wait until the film comes back.

What film camera are you using?

My trusty Pentax 110 with the 40mm lens, which is comically larger than the camera. I usually put the wide pan lens on it, but I was shooting at the zoo the other day and a wide 14mm didn't do diddle.

I have a mix of expired 110 of different makes and vintages, with some new stock. The oldest I've shot through this was 1973 vintage stuff, it gives a really odd ethereal look to things when it exposes. I have about 30 carts of old stock left, I'm trying to shoot it up before it completely goes bad, since 110 isn't the easiest thing to get these days.
