The image you posted is larger than the capacity of those floppies.
I still occasionally use floppies for obscure console copiers. Although FPGA devices have pretty much pulled me away from those.

Single node networks have every few points of failure and are generally very low latency.
My comment was pointing out that the disks were probably copied and/or shared over a BBS or a few hundred.
