The only bomb here is your statement.
no denial

Always thought of tubes as interesting technology. Way before my time but cool stuff nonetheless.
Tip my hate to you if you can effectively build circuits with them.
They're interesting devices to play with, I've made a few projects with them - mostly stuff built from scraps to test a theory.
The stock in the picture is a lot of the same kinds of tubes, mostly to keep my grandfather's old radio going and to keep the last few pieces of test equipment I have with tubes running.
Please forgive my keyboard tarding. That was supposed to say, "hat", not, "hate."
You're fine, I understood what you meant.
Then again, tubes can be both forgiving and hateful at the same time, seeing as how they can operate on voltages approaching 400V.
This is what I was HOPING to see http://www.thebutchersdog.com.sg/uploads/4/0/5/9/40590143/s450316545255245912_p75_i1_w1800.jpeg
Sorry, there was no ham unless the food vendors were selling it.
there was no ham
the four saddest words ever
The event wasn't to dispense ham. There was, however, roast pork at the food truck.
That a telephone lineman's handset off to the left? Never actually seen one.
I posted a couple of examples of lineman's handsets. https://poal.co/s/oldtechnology/435791
Yes, it’s a Southwestern Bell butt set. I’ll take a better picture of that tonight.
When I saw this I thought of a Hamplanet convention, it was funny to see it was a ham radio convention.
Thumbnail looked like 22lr boxes, I'm now disappointed by the lack of gatteries and ham products.
Never talk about your ammo stash.
