The internals all had date codes of 05/79 but apparently it is a 1981 model F that came with the first IBM pc. Here is some info. (deskthority.net) I am going to convert it to ps2 and run it. The early buckling springs are amazing feeling, lite crisp break unlike the newer 1988-current ones that are hard and loud.
