It was really only a matter of time. Kate Briquelet attempted to connect the Manosphere to the events around Gabby Petito. While there are issues of domestic abuse going on there's no evidence that Brian Laundrie is connected in any way to the Manosphere. And the groups in support of Laundrie on Reddit do not include any Manosphere content. There are only two possibilities with Kate here
1. Kate Briquelet is a very poor reporter and/or stunned stupid
2. Daily Beast foisted this piece on her and she did it poorly
