Don't forget that Johnny Depp was a dick head coach head drunk probably and he only married her because she was hot and he was stupid enough to marry an actress. It's not like he went to a church and found the nicest most upstanding girl there. He found the local hottie who happened to be popular at the time and hooked up with her. So it's as much as his fault or well no it's not as much it's fault it's her fault but some of it the stupidity that he had and the vanity that he had caused his problem.
There is certainly a lesson to be learned there as well.
I think why I find this story to be interesting is how it illustrates the woman's side will always be believed. The media ran with that and caused great damage to Johnny's reputation and finances.
