If you use logic you see that the average brainwashed western woman is damaged goods, and the legal institution is not on your side. Perhaps the system weeds out any but the most simped or psychotic.

You basically have to have your own cult like influence to make a woman snap out of her corporate programming. The marriage institution seems to only punish the man if it doesn't work out, so it's definitely a war. Not just to keep a household together, but to fight external factors as well.
