Personal Confession! I will quite likely be watching this movie on opening weekend. That being said *The Wachowskis haven't really done anything outstanding since The Matrix (Including the two following Matrix Movies) *Given the SJW/NPC predilections of Lilly Wachowski I seriously doubt there won't be a woke moment or two *I have a strange feeling that this movie will in some way try to denigrate The Red Pill

I personally think the movie will do well though. More because of Nostalgia than Lilly Wachowski's skills.

Big question for me is. How can someone that can't even figure out what gender they are, come up with a movie that's as nuanced and well done as The Matrix

I would wager that because the Wachowskis are 'ill', is the reason they produced a remarkable piece of cinema. "ill" brains, throughout history, have always produced art that nuero-typical populations have found intriguing, as it's a perspective most of us have never considered. IMHO

Yeah I’ve considered that as a possibility. That or they stole the idea, of which there’s more than a few stories that they did.

Very common in Hollywood I don’t live in Hollywood and I personally know 4 people in my area that had executives still ideas from them

I would argue that art is the 'taking' or 'stealing' of anything the artist wants, and reformatting it into their own expression. In todays age of information/communication, it'd be damn difficult to produce anything completely original, that critics couldn't claim wasn't inspired from other sources.
