Imagine a fat old hag with a post menopause mustache crying her heart out on your shoulder. You'd likely wouldn't put much effort into comforting her.

True - but you wouldn’t judge the action differently. It’s just a woman crying. One you would comfort more and the other less - but the act of crying you would probably see in the same way. Women on the other hand judge activities differently- depending on the person the activity is related to.

That is true, women overall can be more cruel in this regard.

And unfortunately men are more likely to fall victim to them, because they struggle to perceive women as "creepy".

Imagine a greasy lumberjack living alone in the forest, slowly rubbing your thighs and telling you "I love seeing women emotional. I love seeing them cry. Wanna hang out in my cabin?".

We'd instinctively know to run away from such a situation. Because "I love to see men cry" is very different from "I'm a good listener and won't judge".
