The camps were initially planned to be temporarily used for jews waiting deportation. Even jews admit it, but don't brag about it. When the war started, they used these camps as factories.

SS General Reinhard Heydrich decreed that jews in Germany and annexed territories over the age of six had to wear a yellow star on their clothing starting on September 1, 1941. This badge, featuring the word "jude" (jew), was introduced to control the movements of jews prior to their deportation.

Hitler wanted to send/deport them all to the sandbox (Palestine) they gave to themselves through the jewed UK government (Balfour declaration in 1917).
