There is doing something wrong and there is doing something poorly, incompletely or ineffectively. I agree that the matter of jews was not addressed in the manner that was required at that time and which is still required to this day.
Sadly, as aware as he was, with as much insight into the jew as he had, and with as much as he despised them, he still underestimated the evil of the jew.
