Damn it I meant nothing with 'nig' in it is good. It's early and I didn't sleep much last night.

I usually use Alton Brown's recipe, but we leave out the booze because kids.

That brandy, while cheap, is actually really good and mixes well with regular egg nog and chocolate milk (separately). (It's made locally here and I've been to the winery / distillery and they do a good job). I've tried a number of different boozes and this seems to work well. To each their own. Sadly I have a massive sweet tooth.

Interesting idea about the fat. I've tried whiskey in egg nog and I really prefer brandy (regular or spiced). But whiskey does go well in other drinks.
