I believe TCPOCP (Transmission Control Protocol Over Carrier Pigeon) is an already defined standard. The bandwidth potential is large, but suffers from latency and packet loss issues.

It would make sense, carrier pigeons and their abilities. Apparently I misspelled carrier as homing.
