I get it. First incarnation of this meme I saw was more clearly tied to "another brick in the wall" with "hey teacher, leave those kids alone." which upset me because it's the wrong album. I dunno.
That sounds like a dumb meme with the blending of the two. Anyone familiar with Pink Floyd would be scratching their heads.
BTW, I hear Roger Waters is starting to shed some of his asshole-iness.
It's a sad thing. He had the vision, Gilmore had the sound. Feels like Wright and Mason just got the butt of the cigar. Say what you will, I think ummagumma doesn't get the respect it deserves.
Pink Floyd was pretty avant-garde back in the 60's. I wasn't into them at the time but over the years I gained a love and appreciation for them and they are one of my favorite bands. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite album of theirs.
