pretty sure store staff are sick of fighting people about it. I'm going to go ahead and not mask until that gets in the way of me grocery shopping
I've yet to see it mandated anywhere yet. Store staff were sick of it back then too. I usually got away from shopping without a mask in places it was 'required'.
i have to walk alot to a local store to go shopping. to prevent theft at that particular store, they have a security guard/bouncer. Very frequently during the first pandemic i would enter without a mask until the store bouncer got on my ass about a mask so then i would wear the one i brought. When the pandemic ended the first time, i didnt bring a mask at all and was shopping. the bouncer tried to catch me at the door but i ran off to produce and ignored him. When it was clear i wouldnt wear a mask at all he left and came back with a mask which i grabbed kinda distractedly as i shopped. acted a little retarded like i forgot how to wear a mask and he finally left me alone once it looked like the mask would stay.
Seems like a nice guy but i really couldnt help but mess with him enforcing masks lol

I would put on a mask if asked. I never gave any staff a hard time about it. I understand they likely need that job.
It was pretty crazy with enforcement here for awhile. They were even threating to revoke places liquor licenses if they didn't enforce a mask policy. Which was beyond stupid, because as soon as you sat at a bar or table you could take the mask off, but had to wear it to the bathroom or on the way to smoke. Made ZERO SENSE!
