Perhaps. Certainly the generator is highly optimized for its application. It is still not clear to me that the miles per unit of co2 are actually there. It may be, especially when an IC car idles. I just don't see the cost benefit clearly.

The energy to build the generator for EV charging would also need to be "charged," to the EV's account. Maybe it is the exchange of capital for operating co2 cost.

The fact that it is being pushed on us tells me what I really need to know... "Somebody wants me to think that EV is better." Why? Could be about money, could be about control, could be about making the weather colder. It is not clear what the agenda is, but it does not seem to be about my needs, preferences, value, and risk.
